    Default thin ribs/deck rails

    anyone use them? I've got Powell Thin Ribs on the way to put on my LAX Pool deck. I think they're fin awesome.

    I never gridded much. Lack of rails. They were great for boneless tricks and grabs.
    They are great for protecting boards while grinding.

    All I saw were Powell Thin Ribs in orange but my buddy linked me to Crooks Rails and they look hawt.

    there's a few companies still making them... I know black label does, and Pig does in a few colors.

    I made my own for a 40" parkboard from the same material as plastic cutting board. Pre-drilled and coated screws with epoxy. They worked awesome for long slides. I here Crooks and Powell make good ones. Have fun. Peace.

    I'm going to buy some of the 14.5" ones for my Five Points Skates, but wtf would someone do with the 36" ones?!?! I might get the 24" ones to put on my FSM. =D

    be40 has a 22" wheelbase, 36" might not work. i'm having a hard time thinking of what the 36" are for actually lol. maybe like the ed economy or something lol

    Well I didn't put my rails in enough so the concave is causing it to scrape with boardsliding and stuff. lol board darwinism. Looks steezy though.

    Very nice.

    I tried to go with some pigs for my Blood Diamond but they weren't near tall enough. I'm currently waiting for some Crooks OG's to arrive. I'll post them up when they are installed.
