I was just about to post a Lance Mountain video as well - just came across his name when searching pool videos. I don't know who he is, but I like this story / video:
Check out the Vert in some of these pools, wow it looks like those walls would produce a nasty bite if you don't catch the transitions correctly at the bottom.
Lance Mountain was a Powell team rider in the 80s, one of the original members of the Bones Brigade, and has been a major force in skating, on and off, for the last 30 years.
You OWE it to yourself to seek out "The Search for Animal Chin" on video/DVD/YouTube/wherever...you will be blown away.

if you like lance, like looptail said check out steve olsen too. also duane peters, and basically a #### load of amazing dudes from the 70's-80's indy team. steve cal and all the powell teams. i love pool/vert skating so much more than vert(shortboarding). peter hewitt and darren narrevette are sick too....i might have spelled darrens last name wrong tho.
