    Default Will this setup work?

    Deathbox Pine Design---10" wide.

    BDS Shogo Dragon---pretty wide wheels.

    130mm Seismic 45/30.

Application is for transition riding and some kickturns.

I guess my main concern is the truck width/deck width issue. I'm a geometry noob.

btw. The wheels and trucks are fixed variables.

    Thanks.

Edited to add that the Pine Design has wheel wells. And I'll probably use some soft risers.

    You probably want 155mm Seismics.

I would go with a 9 inch wide board.

I wouldn't. 10inchers are the way to go. Throw some wider trucks on there. Indy 169's are good for 10 inch boards, but seisie 155's should do the job too.

That setup may be a bit narrow; but may be just fine... should be right at 9 1/4 inches with the trucks and wheels... the board is definitely narrower than 10" at the truck mounts... you ought to be fine... I'd rather have them be a little bit narrow than a little bit wide...
    Longboard is not a verb.

True. I got a deal on the wheels. For trucks I only need one baseplate and then I can swap hangers from my Dragonfly back and forth.

So should I just measure the width of the wheel and truck combination and look for a board near that width? I like the idea of buying from Mile-High and the Pine Design just looks closest to what I want. I'll probably just pull the trigger. Thanks for all the help.

Ya i know, i'm saying what size indy is good for a 10 inch board, and therefore the 155 siesmics he has are real close.

Measured last night. You couldn't have been any closer.

I ordered the deck and baseplate.

    Thanks again.

want some real advice from experiance? ask my bro. he got a sacred heart BDS (10" wide pig) and threw some 130mm seismics under it. BAD. NO GOOD. VERY BAD. the trick is to try and get your wheels to neither stick out or be too far under your board when level.

This setup seems to kick a fair amount of unit.

Though it hasn't been ridden but for in the office, odds are the rider should be able to increase his/her pool riding skills from yellow belt to whatever the next level is. :P

It is sitting at about forehead level right now and looks really good. The deck at first seemed light but now with seismics and shogos seems heavy.

The deck looks to have added a couple of degrees to the 45 in front and maybe a degree to the 30 in back.

I don't know what else to say but now that I've rediscovered skateboarding it has taken over my life. Thank you Stacy Peralta and LOFD. (They're made from oil.)
