Get the right size wheels and duro. I'm riding 64mm G-Bones and the speed is incredible after a few pushes.
For going up: Before I hit the tranny I get way low, then as I hit the wall I force my arms and body up and forward as hard as I can. I don't know if it's the best way, but it works well for me.

And Speck Nineteen, stop taunting me with that board. It just looks too damn good.

I measuered about 7 3/4" right between the rear truck screws. It fits Indy 169's perfect, or, if you're a Tracker guy, Sixtracks.

When you're front side on a carve, you are facing the wall. Backside...your back is to the wall.

Bend your knees, reach down as if you're going to grab your board, and look in the direction you want to go.

That's probably the most important thing while skating tranny. Your body will follow where you head is looking.

I feel amazingly confident carving backside. But frontside... I get the same feeling as riding switch when on a tranny. Just totally awkward and unbalanced. I can carve flatground front side though... I need a lot of practice.

Apparently nobody's progressed in a while
I got my Berts solid. And I'm getting close to 360 Berts to Fakie.
Getting pretty good with kickturning into a 50-50 going too fast.
Beanplants are getting there. My Bonelesses are pathetic.
I still can't commit to drop-in or Rock N Roll to Fakie, or Rock N Roll to Pivot.
And my frontside carving is getting slightly better but I don't do it enough to really change much.

    Good pics speck!

I just got my 8.5 popsicle stick last week. My first popsicle stick in a long time. After ollying longboards, going back to this makes ollies feel effortless and I feel more confident. I think longboarding has helped me be more well rounded. That said I can land my boardslide to shuv-it off as well as my switched shuv-its. wooooo

I gotta say though, I just dont understand No-complys. I see people do it, and when I step on, I just dont get it.

Edit: Add a switch ollie to the list. wooo

    Mostly regression

1 year ago i began to hesitate for drop-ins in any ramps (on a 6 foot metal mini) ... Going down allright .... Then going down on my knees ...
    No more confidence
Now ... getting ready to drop ... trying to get ready to drop ... no more ...

Next i felt it easier to drop from an axle-stall position .... Up to 5 feets ...
And now (since last sunday) ... Not even on a 5 foot transition ...

    What's going on ?????

    Now for progress :
    - I'm getting better and better for pumping up transitions .. Going vert now for backside grinds ...
    - Fast backside carves in a 7 foot bowl up to the coping .. Backside and frontside ....

But I need to drop in again
Yes I really need it ..
    hello old world

    I\'m old too

Yeaah! Nice to hear some progress from ya'll. I've also made some improvements, especially on my boneless/beanplant (whats the difference between those two?), can do layback fs/bs berts without any hesitation, and I've learnt to 50/50 a rail. Man it's hard to get the board right. I pulled of a fakie axlestall on the 1 m transition. i'm going to a park not long from me that's just amazing (check www.stapelbaddsparken.se), and after that you'll probably hear some more progress from me

    edit: here it is...
