Re: Post your Pool/Park setups!
169s are 9" axle-tip-to-axle-tip so they fit best on 9" wide boards. For an 8.5" deck I'd suggest 149s unless you want your wheels sticking out the side which is kinda goofy.

My first 5 Point was a grave digger with a square tail, which if you look at his website is a shovel nosed board with rails similar to the old Schmitt Ripsaw model (scallopped) I told him I wanted it 33" long 9.25 wide with a WB that fit (he gave me 15.,625)....that board works in the park but its a better street/curb board IMO plusI really wanted a Roskopp tailed board so I sent Tim a Picture of my Roskopp Face board along with a request for a Blender-esque nose (Blenders boards were for a time know to have huge but functional noses) again 33" long 9.125" wide and a suitable wheelbase (15.5")....what I got is the board you see which is IMO better for park than the board my first board a bit more stable, a big fat nose for sweepers, not to mention keeping my feet on the board and that oh so sweet Roskopp tail. Look at his website, you can mix and match shaped from different boards of send him a shape that have designed. my board is loosely based on the "Schralpster" with the nose and tail mods that I wanted. He has 2 molds a narrow (under 9.5") mold which has a max WB of less than 16"and a wide (more than 9.5" wide) which can support a WB up to 18" I think. Both my boards I ordered on a wednesday, he usually presses on the weekend and my board was on my doorstep about 7 days after I ordered.

Re: Post your Pool/Park setups!
Cool thanks for the info. I wanted to try and use 5 points to make a board based loosely on the superglider, only smaller and a little more geared toward the park. A hybrid of sorts- take a shot at that mythical board that you can ride to the park and in the park.
I may just wait and see what EW comes out with ie miniglider.

Are these easily available again? I tried to get one about 6 months ago to no avail.

Re: Post your Pool/Park setups!
Anyone remember the thread someone made about their Stinger setup?
It had 169s and Gravity Burners. I'm looking for it to see the pics

No I don't think so. I picked up my cw parkbomb mini (last one) at a local skateshop. before that I had emailed coldwar directly and there doesn't seem to be a production run or anything that will happen anytime soon.

Re: Post your Pool/Park setups!
Randy from Cold War said something about not having a reliable source for quality wood supplies, I believe.
So, I reckon it's much better to have limited availability than for him to compromise on his raw materials.

Indy 169
Rat Bones 60mm 85a - I mostly ride Lansdowne, it's a 70's era park and I love these wheels on that surface. I've got a set of 95a's on the way for smoother surfaces.

Nice lansdowne setup, I hope you get our there before the weather gets worse. . . .

Thanks man! I was hoping to get out there this weekend, never used to matter when I was a teenager and in my twenties, but these days I'm not sure how stoked I am to go skate in 30 degrees temperature and wind...
You know Lansdowne, it's so flat and open. With a strong wind at your back you can start and back end of the park and just fly up to the other end, once you round the smurf and start to head back your pumping like mad trying to keep speed and eventually just stop...
