Just ordered some medium bones hardcores, and some 53mm DBS park wheels for the BE. Not diggin' the stock Indy bushings.

The blue ones are the mediums, right?

Blues are soft, yellows are med.

I love my Indys, have actually never ridden hard-cores before, but I've heard nothing but good things.

i use my BE40 for pretty much everything, even downhill. took it up to around 40 with indy 169's and otang inheats. I also used to shred on my carve 39 but i snapped the tail and then got the BE40

Hey brother BE 40 rider. I use mine mostly on the streets...banks, ledges, etc., but parks are tons of fun too. Peace.

nice vid dude! nothing like locking into a long manual, such a good feeling.

I used to ride a lot of street stuff with my BE40 but i started to get back into shortboarding. It feels so much nicer to flip and ollie than wrestling the BE40 around

Excellent video - that manual was redonkulous.

Just out of curiousity, what wheels are you running on your BE40?

I prefer 57mm softies, but have been broke for way too long so I got a set of 56mm hard blanks for $20 and hav proceeded to slide em down to like 52mm. They're way to small now and every seam in the sidewalk is a hazard. Thanks for digging the footage. The new video will be posted as "Parkboard Sessions 40 Inches of Freedom". Should be up by next week. Peace.

How does this setup look? LongboardSkater.com: Gravity Brad Edwards Pro Model "Four" - 40" - Complete I could ask them to put harder wheels If I wanted.

I ride a BE40, when I skate up at lansdowne I put 85a which works really well but mostly I'm in parks and use DTF which I think are around 97a. I have also riden 100a rainskates for parks.

One of the really sick things about the BE40 is that just by adjusting the wheels you can skate it anywhere anyhow. With hard wheels it can kill a park or pool with soft wheels it can cruise. and anything in between.

where do you skate in DC? I live in arlington and skate all around the DC area.

I"m mostly at the arlington park, which is a mile or so from my house. But I go to lansdown and gsl whenever I can and other parks, as well as my neighborhood.

I've never skated rock creek, do they close the streets on the weekends? i'd like to check that out.
