Default Dropping in with risers

So...I've been to the s.park with my pool deck board a few times now and am loving it.
One question though before tackling dropping in...I've got half inch risers with my 169 trucks, and 10 in. wide board. Can I drop in as usual, or do I need to do something to adjust accordingly?
FYI, I'm coming up on the vert/coping and turning now, just wondering about the transition from above....

What size wheels are you riding? It doesn't really matter I am just curious. Your risers won't affect anything when dropping in.

Back in the '80's most of us were dropping in with 1/2" risers. It should be no problem. I may be using 1/2" risers on my park board now that I think about it. 3/8" for sure. No problems dropping in and I get to keep my trucks loose for carving those tight corners.

I have 1/2 inch risers on my 10 inch Powell Caballero board with 64MM
Bones mini-cubes, and drop in all the time at the park. I have said this on here before
but dropping in is about 70% guts and 30% skill.

it's a drop-in there shouldn't be any difference but out of curiosity, what do you normally drop in with? if anything, the difference in the steepness of the tail kick makes drops feel different from board to board - for me anyways.

Thanks for your comments.
I normally don't drop in, just moved over from longboarding. The tail is pretty kicked up, but I think I just need to go for it...just intimidating...

My wheels are 58 Bones SPFs. I'm wondering if they're too small, or if I'd be better off on some larger wheels. I really want my board to be primarily suited for carving the bowl, don't care about street or freestyle stuff, just want to carve. I'm a surfer and so tend to be pretty surfy in style.

My board is the 10 by 34 inch Pool Pirate (made my Pool King).

a flat pig with wide trucks and bigger wheels makes a nice surfy setup. surfing's actually kept me out of the bowl the last few years. i've jacked myself up one too many times to risk not being able to get in the water. i know....lame.

58mm is a good size wheel for parks.

I've dropped in on vert ramps and vert walls and over-vert. It's mainly mental once you know how to do it on vertical.
