Do u need to be able to ollie high to do a significant amount of stairs? (3+)

Not really.

I can ollie fairly high, but i cant do stairs.

It's more about balance, mine isnt that great.

No you need speed and you need to ollie out, not up. I can do up to 5 sets without ollieing just sorta manualing off with enough speed.

Heh, depends how fast you are going when you ollie.
You need enough ollie distance to clear the stair to the bottom, so you can ollie less if you're going faster! I saw a video a while ago on here of someone clearing a 4 or 5 set without ollieing at ALL!

You actually don't need to ollie at all to do small stair sets. I used to clear 4 back in the 70s, and Torger Johnson could do 7. Oliieing just makes the small sets easier, but you'll need to ollie to do the large ones...

In "Downhill Motion", there's a scene where someone does a 4 on tiny board with rollerskate trucks and loose ball bearing wheels, back in '75...

olleing small sets of stars is not that hard it just takes a pare of nuts and someone thats not afrad to get a little hurt
