Default nub post, but need some setup help

so I am planning on buying a pool setup soon, As i sorta would like to get back into the world of skateparks but less techy tricks and street skating style. I am content for my longboard setups but i would really like to get a pool board. I am totally virgin to this area of skating. Anyways this is my possible setup

Coldwar Park Bomb III 34x9.5 tapering to 8.75
Independent Stage 10 169 trucks

I am pretty set on this board, Seems like perfect specs for me. I am still kinda confused on a couple of subjects. Would the 169mm trucks be a good fit for the width of this board? My main concern is wheels. I am completely confused on which wheels to choose. Ill mostly be skating on concrete bowls maybe a bit of wood here and there. Anyways I need help of wheel choice, I was thinking the Park Formula Bowl Bombers, but they seem like id get alot of wheelbite being 64mms. Wheel size? how much risers?

Sounds fine, just add riser as necessary. It all depends on what bushings and such you run in your trucks. Also, make sure you buy the deck from DBS or somebody (unless you like waiting an extra week for someone to put things in the mail).

i like using longboard wheels on a short deck, theyre fast and QUIET.
thats a sweet board but too bad the graphic sucks. the older graphics were much better, on all the boards

good board, good truck choice, don't worry graphics don't last anyway....wheels I'm partial to Rocking Ron's Black Holes lately, they are just fast and surprisingly not too hard feeling

Yeah, I am not to concerned about the graphics, as long as it functions. I plan on ordering from daddies, as I have gotten great service from them and fast shipping times. I think I might skip on the rockin rons wheels, because I am tight on cash and then id have to order to someone else which id rather not. I think that maybe down the road ill throw on another set of wheels possibly the black holes. anyways for bushing im not to sure, suggesttions?

Get some, try some? It's totally a preference thing, but you won't want rocks in your trucks for the bowls/pools.

I too am a noob to tranny, and I'm running 62 mm SPF's on a converted Sk8Kings GS deck. I was worried about them being too slippery, but they've been great thus far.

I agree with the Rainskate Stingers, they are great for concrete skateparks. I use the stingers with a 39" gravity carve, along with Indy 149mm.

For high speed, with a bit more traction you
could go with Rainskates Yellow Jackets.

Very good pool / smooth crete wheels.

I thought about getting those wheels, but I wanted to stay around the 100a durometer range. They seem like they woud be very good in the skatepark, I just didn't want to shred them up when I slide.

The Yellow Jackets are 98A, I slide my wheels more than most
(in the park on the smooth concrete) and 0 flat spots or problems
so far. They are still pretty hard and fast.

I have the Rainskates Stingers too, the Yellow Jackets have just a little more grip.
