    Default Powell Completes $100!

Just wanted to point this out to the boyz (and girlz) here
on The Fish that SCS SoCal Skateshop has Powell completes
on sale now for under $100. What a deal, Indy 169's Bones Reds
and Powell G-Bones with grip tape, hardware and risers!

That would make a sweet Christmas present

I have that Silver Cab, in fact rode it today in the freezing cold
at the Skatepark. Nice thing was there were only 5 of us there.

Mine has Indy 169's 1/4 risers and 60MM 95A Bullet Church Glass Wheels.
Sweet ride, and your right, Cab is the man.

Wow, that beats the price I got at the Powell sale a couple weeks ago me thinks, lets see . . .
    Barbee dearth angel deck, $35

    60mm 95A Ditch Tech Formula wheels, $12

    Bones Reds, $16

Indy 169's w/ risers and mounting hardware (SB skate shop) $40

Grand total, $103 plus tax, plus waiting 2 hours to get in the warehouse. I should have waited for this deal for sure. . .

I do like having double kicks on my deck though. How's it goin Deron? Been skating the local park lately with my new setup and lovin it. Still have lots to learn though . . .

Hey Matt, Things are great, but COLD here in St. Louis, 12*
currently and that is todays high - ouch.

Good to hear you are still skateing, and hitting up the skatepark.
I do more bowl riding than I used to, but still enjoy a good ride
on the Pintail once in a while.

You still got your ramp set up?

Oh yeah, but I have been spending more time at the park lately. I did spend about an hour on Friday riding the ramp, never did down the trick I was trying to learn, but I had lots of fun trying. I had hoped to ride it again today, but it did not happen. It was cold here too, high was on like 62 or something . . . 8)

I did also go for a nice beach bike path ride yesterday on my LDP setup, life in SB sure is rough.

Next time you're out this way you have to come by and teach me to ride bowls, I'm spending lots of time in them lately. My head knows what to do, but my body is not listening yet. But each session I learn something new and gain confidence, so eventually I'll get there.

Plan to hit up the YMCA skatepark in Clairmont (San Diego) on Tuesday, and maybe Friday or Saturday too.

Do you have a link to that? Or is it in store only?
If your not skating for fun, what are you skating for?

The discount is for anyone, SCS is an on-line shop based in Mission Viejo.
The shop is owned by Mike Hirsch, a skater since the 1970's.

He has a banner ad here on the Fish, (SCS.com)
but here is the link as well: Last Minute Xmas Deals

He is also starting to carry more and more Longboard product.
