Re: official photography thread
'bike' ... are we talking pushing pedals or setting OFF car alarms? I fall in the 2nd category and keep saying I need to hang the camera on my neck when I take off on for a wandering putt through the countryside.
That horse has an expression like it got caught farting or something.

Re: official photography thread
So the other day I got back from work and my housemate had moved our kitchen table out into the garden to play war games

I was a bit 'mah, I don't want to stay in tonight' so I check out what was going on. My favorite pub in the world has live bands on every night and I've never had a bad time there, so I checked it out and there was a blue grass band playing. I called my buddy Will and he was like 'HELL YES!'
When I left the house there were balloons everywhere. It was the Bristol Balloon festival, around 70 balloons went up at once but they all separated by the time they got to my side of town.

When I got to the pub a bit early I ended up drinking on this bench next to this guy. This looks really makes me cringe

Not that any of my friends know any better. Yes Will, it's a blue grass band but it's not mandatory to wear dungarees...

So we went inside when the band came on and everyone was having a good time right from the beginning

it get's very hot in there and it's always jam packed. the guys had to take their shirts off

The Old Duke attracts the sort of drunks who wouldn't usually end up at this sort of gig, they just fall in off the street. This guy could shout louder than the band could play, and all he would shout was "YOU'RE NUMBER 1. THE BEST! NUMBER 1!"

Everyone was having a really good time, the band even got some people up on stage for a 'who can do an American accent' contest. The blond won, she was good but too be honest she could've said anything and she'd have won.

I couldn't take my eyes off her all evening. I took loads of photos of her, but most of the night we were too busy dancing and none of them came out well

The double bassist was a bit sleazy. He couldn't take his eyes off her either haha

as it got hotter and we got drunker the band started getting more naked

The band played well past the curfew. They said if someone bought them cider they'd carry on playing - so I went to the bar and got a round in. Bastards didn't even say thanks!

and the whole time I think I was embarrassing my friend Jo

The next day I was so hungover. I was sweating booze all day. gross.

Re: official photography thread
That's great. I can't imagine anything that would be cooler than going to see a blueegrass band in an English pub and entering an American accent contest. What's funny is we have so many different accents here from region to region, and being from Alabama I could show you the bluegrass accent real well.
