Annie Leibovitz = was so fixated with creating the best picture, she went bankrupt last spring. She would sometimes spend millions of dollars getting everything she wanted into the photograph. (google image) some of her photos

Baer is fantastic. He's a well known artist and is up everywhere! He has plenty of pieces in San Francisco.

Got my MPEX SC3 Strobist kit which comes with 2 LP120 flashes, 2 stands, 2 umbrellas, etc...
    Here's a link: <a href="http://www.mpex.com/browse.cfm/4,12322.html" rel="nofollow">www.mpex.com/browse.cfm/4,12322.html</a>

I thought i'd try to do some product photography since i'm trying to sell my Yashica Mat-124G.

    Strobist Info:
    1 LP120 45 left and up
    1 LP 120 45 right and up.
Used 2 pieces of white paper for bottom and background, then cloned out where they met.

Yeah, I am finding that out. I feel so much better on a solid old manual lens, but it could be because I use them on a regular basis.

I'm trying to go back to digital a bit, but I'm still struggling with this RAW business. Does anyone else experience saturation differences between what you are working with in PS/GIMP and what actually shows up when you upload the image?

It doesn't seem to matter which color profile I allow, saving and not saving the changes alike.. it still does this. I feel really stupid, but it's quite annoying when you spend time, even a minute, making something look right and it doesn't look correct when uploaded.

Not a photographer, but you could try saving in a different format - .png for example - as jpg isn't quite what one might call a lossless format.
