I dont know much about digital but..

When I am working is PS, it always looks different when I upload to Flickr AND from printed files. What I have read is you should buy/rent a monitor calibrator. You should do it monthly.

Well, I played around some more... I was exporting out of iPhoto wrong and not actually working with a RAW file. This seems to be working out much, much better, though GIMP's RAW editor is a bit confusing to the unsuspecting noob like myself. I still feel pretty dumb, thanks for the responses!

Oh ****, so i accidently pulled up the rewind lever on my 35mm camera when trying to rewind the film. Of course the back poped open just barley for about a second. I know there are alot of variables that have to do with this but is my roll just dead? Should i bother having it developed or just toss it in the garbage?

i only use 35mm 1.8 AF-S and 50mm AF-D lately.. Can't autofocus on the 50mm, but i still like it.

Monitor calibration is very important. I'd strongly suggest renting one.. or if a friend has one. They have them at my school.

Finish it and develop it anyway... you might lose a few frames, but the few times I have done that, it hasn't been a huge loss.
