1. shoot in raw
2. pseudo-HDR = create 5 exposures from 1 raw..-2 -1 0 1 2
3. merge with photomatix
4. ???
5. Profit!

Every year my department contacts the human services department. We get a family who is in need. We then gather a bunch of money and then purchase gifts for that family. (Single mom with 2 kids of her own and then she has to accept two of her sisters..) We get in our vehicles and deliver the packages, with Santa. I was the archivist for this year.

Here is a pic of a couple of Elves.

...take a short break.

then continue fiddling..until you feel it's right.

...and apparently, it still feels wrong, and you continue to fiddle with it until you reach the point of "#### this ####, i'll let photoshop to finalize it."

tokina 12-24 wideangle DX pro...too bad it doesnt autofocus on the D40

I got a Canon camera backpack and some filters. I asked for off camera flash stuff but oh well. I plan on going down to the swap meet and picking up the 50mm f1.8. and hopefully people will be selling their old crap now that they have new stuff.
