That's silly for the polaroid 8x10. A buddy of mine had an 8x10 camera, it was a beast.

I've got an old glass plate 5x7 camera, I have been wanting to try it for a long time. My plan was to use 5x7 paper and put a piece of cardboard behind it to try and get it right at the focal plane. The shutter is pneumatic, so it still works like a charm.

The first three I like alot, the fourth is just a picture of some friends, which I like more for their presence than I do for the photo.

Here are my nightshots. I was experimenting with shooting manual and adjusting ISO, Shutter, and Aperture. C and C welcom or post up urs. I would like to see other shots/techniques.

Here are mine. Im still trying to get the histogram down. Playing with shutter speed and aperture on manual mode.

F8 - 20 sec- ISO 200

F14 - 15 sec- ISO 400

F10 - 20 sec- ISO 250

F10 - 25 sec - ISO 400

The top one is my favorite for composition and color, love the glow of the light pollution in the background - not so fussed on the others in terms of what the photographs look like, but technically they're sound.
