I love the blur effects. Did you use a lensbaby?

The blur was done in Photoshop, but at least the first one was shot on film

What are you doing in post to inhance the tones? Interesting look, I see a lot of that these days. I had a fashion-like shoot last week also, I don't do that sort of thing often. Mine was all studio and high-key shots of college kids, they will use them on billboards and some print ads. The science stuff was for the same campaign. I'd post something but I just came from football practice and have to get these images to the media with a quickness. It says 21 minutes for my memory card to load, that's a f-ing eternity on a Friday afternoon.

even then, there are many that are gone completely. i had one laptop (~20 gigs of pics) stolen, and my current laptop has crashed twice.I won't tell you to backup, I guess you figured out by yourself.

God, I suck at loading film into cameras. I almost ruined a 12 dollar roll of film.

I've never had the chance to shoot a nude/underwear model. I'm writing it down on my list of things to shoot before the year's over... Meanwhile I do have some friends in bikinis.

It`s quite simple really, just put everything at 100% in ACR and ease down until it looks right. I did most of it with just natural light, but this was a single Nikon SB-26 from the left. Yeah, I use a Nikon flash with my Canon.

Interesting. I am going to revisit this thread when I return to work on Monday and play with your saturation settings, it reminds me of what they do with that lucisart stuff.

Soon I'll be shooting football every Saturday. It's great the first game or two, first couple times a guy gets clocked right in front of me. Then it gets old when there are other things to do on Saturday night. Beats diggin ditches though.

Its pretty awesome but what do you like about it? Its mexico's student city and third largest city, you can party every day of the week and theres always stuff to do.

I'm doing compositions with different photographs... but its taking so much time to upload them all to the printers!! grrrr

Felt like hopping on the photo wagon again:







Trying to get back into photography after a long dry period. I found that bringing a Canon 20D with a battery grip and a lense as big as my fist (only two times the weight) makes cruising less ... relaxed. Having to worry about what might happen if that little crack in the road you've never had any trouble going over before suddenly had gotten too cool for school ...
