Sometimes going back to your home town is great because maybe you go out and bump into someone you haven't seen for years and you have an awesome catch up session. Sometimes you'll meet someone and you wont know that you know them till after you leave and it hits you, 'that was Jade. The Jade.' And you remember being dumped when you were 17 by a girl for a girl, and you want to go back and tell your 17 year old self that it's cool because 6 years on you wont know Catherine anymore but she'll still be with Jade and they'll both be happy.

But back in my city for the first time in months all 6 of the people who live in my house are together
Ryan's sister came down to visit, this is her -

    and this is him -

We went to a Jazz club and it all started kind of tame and boring and no one was dancing

but then things got sweaty and hot and the band got carried away and it was a great night

in the morning I went for a walk and it was wet and horrible and I felt awfully hungover

and seeing this building always makes me depressed - The Bank of England

OK, those old guys letting loose is awesome. And what is that mohawked kid dragging? Looks like a tiny animal on a leash, but it's extremely small.

Wow. I thought that I had thought about it yesterday and then didn't. Now I see I thought about it more than that and did post it. Apologies.

I'm no photographer or anything, but I took this pic for school and I thought it was pretty cool.

Those were taken with my Canon 40D. (Most of my pics, while at work, have been the G10 though)

..and thank you for the kind compliment.

Lexx, I love that set you have there, especially the first pic. Photos with stories are the best. I see you use Flickr, but I am too dumb to know how to go from the photo link to the stream since they incorporated this photo-viewer thing. So what's your name on there?

    Nice panorama, Crappy.

No one's been around, so I've been hanging out outside quite a bit, trying some things I've seen and some things I thought would be fun.

Ha cheers. My flickr is - Flickr: Empty Hallways' Photostream
I also have this awfully depressing blog - Empty Hallways

That first shot is awesome, love the bold colors.

I'm also digging Snow's sea scape. Man I miss the sea so bad.
I haven't seen the sea for months and I miss the salted air, the sand between the toes, the endless horizon.
Corny as fuck but it's so true.

The other week I had this customer who came in looking for a camera and I sold him something pretty much the opposite of what he thought he wanted when he walked in, now he keeps coming back to say how much he's loving it. We were chatting about something and I mentioned I worked on cruise ships, and he pulled out of his wallet a photo I probably took. Turns out he was a guest on the same ship when I was working on it, and the photo was of the background I used to shoot. He made me miss that job so bad, and it's crazy how small a world it really is. I don't miss the long hours, the very little sleep and the poor pay. I do miss the girls and the atmosphere and seeing new places for free, but mostly I just miss the sea.
