Re: official photography thread
I tried pushing a roll of film.. only by one stop, it worked out fine. (Except that I can't shoot in a dark auditorium, so most of the roll is garbage). I have another roll pushed the same way to develop tonight or tomorrow night if I get the chance, so I should have some more usable shots.

I've got an awful habit of pushing all my black and white films. It's because I take so many photos in dark bars, but then I'd forget which films I didn't push if I only did selected, so I do it to them all - hence why my pictures are always so grainy. It's my own fault!
Anyway, these are the first shots back from my OM4Ti and 35mm shift lens.
Metering is harder with a shift lens anyway, but it looks like I under exposed the whole film.
I'm neither used to the OM4 or Provia, so it's no surprise. I didn't make it easy for myself with a few unknown variables but still, sorry for the boring results here. I still wanted to share.
with 35mm shift -

with 24mm wide from the exact same point, tripod didn't move at all except to point the head up to fit it all in

Another angle

I haven't taken anything like this for over a year though. Miss my OM2n, I always knew what I'd get out of that

NVM, I thought you were doing film.
I was looking over some of my old film stuff, and it kinda looked like a combo of solarization, and litho developing.

Re: official photography thread

I've been messing something up when I develop. Or else I need a different, non-cheapo reel. I thought I was getting light leaks on the ends of my film, but it seems like the chemicals just aren't getting through to the middle of the reel. I pulled out this last roll and the last 3 or 4 shots are almost black and the film was all wavy. I'm not quite sure what to make of it, maybe this reel just isn't suitable for 36-shot rolls, as I don't remember it happening on my 24-shot ones.

Re: official photography thread
going back over 20 years..I remember just using smaller rolls since you would have to roll more film onto the metal reels. Which means tighter winding and of course better chances of the chems' not reaching every nook and cranny of the canister.
I am sure lexx has more/wiser input than I since I am old and brain is crusty.
..I dont miss film now that I am using DSLR's. I would wind 2-3 rolls of film on class night. I was fairly adept at playing with myself in the dark is the only reason I can think of why I had so few frames not turn out.
