way too expensive for what it is anyway, 100 dollars for a 9 ply maple deck? that is about 6 dollars worth of wood retail and probably 10 dollars worth of graphics

You just don't want something like that for a speed board. The problems with it would fill up this entire site. Besides, something that long needs to be more than nine plys, or expect your 188 dollars to snap.

i agree with yea tyler, and mif you wanna lower your cost for manufacturing these boards just slap a simple graphic on them. i dont buy a board for the graphic, i buy it for the shape, functionality and occasional what people have told me about them.

There is not enough "meat" in the wood to support drop thrus. That really puts a lot of stress on the board. Screw that board.

I'll agree with the price problem; $188 is bullshit.
The wheelbase isn't a problem, though, kiddies. Look at the Mad Bomber, look at the Alpine. 31" is acceptable (and popular).

That's actually the price for a complete, but the kit is kinda silly with Tracker 219's and Krypto 76's. That's still not a deal. I could set up a Landy drop-thru with Randals and Gumballs for about the same $$.

The things that really make me gag are the "11-year-old-kickflipper" deck graphics, and the ridiculous "sales pitch" rant that makes even the old Firns rhetoric sound reasonable. Longboarders don't want crappy gimmicks. We want stuff that works.

My 39 inch drop thru board has a 33 inch wheelbase, why would I need that long piece of crap? Also, who the hell drops trackers!?!?!

"I know you don't steal purses. Especially from old ladies. But we used to know a guy that did, and he told us this was his getaway vehicle."

wow! what a great way to promote the skateboarding industry! that guy needs to be poleaxed by the way.
