Jefferson Lake, Colorado
I've been told the road leading through the park up to Jefferson Lake has been freshly repaved.
I looked it up on Google Earth since the last time I was there was like, literally 8 years ago. It looks pretty sick but I could really tell grade. I've also been told that it's like only a lane and a half wide, so it might be kind of sketchy.
Has anyone been up there to validate any of this? My friend was up there and confirmed that it was re-paved, but only told me that it was pretty gnar and he wouldn't ride it at his current skill level. So I guess I was just wondering if anyone has been up there recently, and if they think it's rideable or a good idea to ride. Or if anyone wants to go up there with me and scope it out, and if looks good, sesh it.

We should probably just head up there and check it out this weekend. If it isn't a good road, there's bound to be some around there.

i live about 20 minutes from there. i haven't been up there in a few years but last i remember the road was pretty steep, not very wide and ended on a dirt road after the pavement.
might be paved all the way to 285 or the entrance now, if it is then it would be a sick road.
yeah but natty light is like the beat ass $2 hooker on the corner, where PBR at least has an apartment.

How steep is pretty steep? Do you have an approxiate grade? Can you compare it to like, Lookout, or other hills?
Don't mean to be a hassle with the 20 questions, I just kind of want to get as much info about it so I don't drive like, an hour and a half out of my way to find a hill that's not rideable.

Sorry I don't know grade. I'll try to take a ride out there sometime this weekend and throw up some pictures and get some info on grade and what the road is like.

Sick,. I would appreciate that. No need to go out of your way, though.
