Default Low to no traffic hills in Utah?

I don't know what you guys have been up to this past month, but I've been watching some freeriding videos posted by the boys at Original Longboards. My stoke level is starting to reach critical levels, but every time I look outside, I think, Dang! My street is pretty damn busy! I rewatch the videos again of the guys going down beautiful, turny, and empty roads, and I start to cry a little inside. I wish I could have a piece of that.

Does anyone know of any sweet, low-traffic roads on which to freeride in our fair state, preferably in the north? South Idaho or west Wyoming is good, too; I just need to ride.

We usually go for the hills that fork off from the trax line going up towards the U. 1st south has some red lights, and speeds are at maybe 25 or 30 depending on riding style. 3rd avenue is also pretty fast, with houses on either side, almost no traffic, and 2 stop signs/intersecting roads, and a long runout at the bottom. Speeds of maybe 35 if you tuck. I think the best thing about SLC is the trax station. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that a longboarder placed the train tracks. Anyways, traffic is always a concern, but that is why we take hills at night, that are somewhat straight. Its a great city to live.

Does anyone else know of other spots in SLC? I really want to try sundance canyon... Has anyone tried it already? How about some hills up the cottonwood canyons? Man, the speed is starting to get addicting, boarding at or below 25 for the first 5 years of this hobby really was lame looking back on it.
