so i am now living in boulder, and its kind of a pain to drive places to skate where i usually do. Is there anyone in Boulder that would like to take me out to any particularly sweet hills nearby? i like to dh and nothing much else.
I've heard 4 Mile Canyon is pretty sick, but so far I've only driven it (none of my friends with cars seem to want to drive me up there at 5:30 on a sunday morning...). That's the only real downhill run I know of that's actually in boulder, but I just started getting into DHing, so I'm sure someone more experienced knows more.
Not really anymore Mark. Since the MHM and WAC sessions died off there they don't patrol it anymore. Just be respectful and you can skate there all day. We even pulled off an outlaw there last year.

Cool.
Good to know.

isnt it like lee hill rd? idk, ive heard of alotta spots in boulder, but i have yet to hit any of them. i messed myself up on one i heard about going towards ned.
i believe it is four mile canyon rd.
top speed, maybe 35 on four mile. if you can footbreak and drift a corner you will be fine. its a very mellow run, but there are some mean guardrails on there that could mess up your day. just skate smart and you will be fine. it is by far the most mellow run in the boulder area.

I just got a DH board recently, and am learning to ride it on roads in south boulder. Nothing big... juilliard, bear mtn, ncar and the like. So if you want to ride sobo, hit me up.
In fact a weekly session in South Boulder and other places would be fun. Not necessarily strictly DH, but rather for anyone with slide gloves and a helmut.

for sure, i live by table mesa, so where abouts are you in south boulder? all those roads are unfamiliar to me.
Juilliard is great for practicing slides on any deck. If people wanted to meet up sesh it for
a while then maybe shuttle longer hills i'm sure a good time could be had.
As of now the neighbors are real cool, so we should all be friendly non-profane citizens in return, since it would sicken me if we lost the hill.(there's plenty of other places to piss people off) They insist on helmets and you really want to wear one on this hill and definitely need slide gloves.
Directions: find either Gilespie and Juilliard and go uphill or find Lehigh and Juilliard and go downhill we hit the bottom section

Start talkin times and days
I for sure won't be able to make it during a normal week (Assuming it's not like a holiday week, or something), but anytime on the weekend I should be able to make it up. I don't really care on times, but I like having something to make sure I get up early in the morning, I kind of love/but really just hate sleeping in.
