    Default wood suppliers

So, i've decided to build a drop deck long board, and i've got everything to press myself a board (never pressed anything before, but woodworking in general, i do know)

The issue im coming across is finding the wood that i would like to use. I figured i'd be able to hit up sears trostle up here in FOCO and they definitely don't have anything in 1/16" maple (go figure), and the only 3.0mm (just under 1/8") birch they have is faced, not solid. Though, this is all i can find in the area. Any other suggestions for getting the materials needed to build myself a longboard in NOCO???

I will be trying sutherlands tomorrow, since probuild is now closed (i work at lowe's, so this is basically what i do all day, but sometimes miss the smaller places)

So far what i know: woodcraft has nothing under 1/4" in birch
sears trostle has 3mm birch (faced) at 26/sheet, but it is faced and currently out of stock
lowes and home depot are pointless for decent lumber, much less in these sizes
I will try sutherlands, but any other ideas would be great.

Even if i have to make a drive to denver, i'd b down to get a good deal on 1/8" solid birch.

Are you familiar with Roarockit | How to build custom skateboard decks, with Canadian Maple Veneer and Thin Air Press Vacuum technology ?

i am, but i've decided to work with a dimm style press for now, meaning that the 1/16" would be too thin, and would create bubbles between the layers.

I have finally figured out how to get wood, i may even be able to order it at work (lowe's) through paxton in denver... the 1/8" baltic birch turned out to be a PITA to track down, but it worked.
