    Default MT. EVANS Downhill

Hey guys I was wondering what the word is on Mt. Evans. I'm hiking Mt. Bierstadt, crossing sawtooth ridge to the top of Mt. Evans and then going downhill from there.... I'm not sure what to expect, but it's happening.

Anyone have some info on what is going to happen? I'm going with two buddies that are slightly inexperienced... Is this going to be sketchy or mellow?

Keep your fingers crossed. We'll be wearing helmets and slide gloves.

    Thanks guys

that pavement is chunder. if you have inexperienced riders with you i would advise strongly against letting them drop in on it as it is a difficult run, with a high bust factor and alot of traffic.

Yoo Tom I appreciate the real talk, thank you for helping us avoid the potential disaster. I imagine the cops on labor day weekend would be out and about along with tons of traffic.

Would you have any suggestions for us though?
We really want to do some shredding while the snow is not around.

mt evans is real gnar.lots of traffic difficult turns and the pavement makes shutdowns and pendys very difficult meaning airbraking is really your best option.if you and your friends are not comfortable past 40..then dont even **** with it.
