garages in colorado

hey guys, i live in aurora and my friends and i like to go hit up garages in the winter. the only o spot we know of is dtc and we've only fgound a few good ones and usually get kicked out pretty quick. so does anyone know where some good garages are? i hear there's a spiral somewhere but i dont know where anyone know? thanks

Ya the Wells Fargo theater is the only spiral that i know of. If you take the Light Rail it takes you right there. Its sweet but you have to have your slides down to make it to the bottom. And im in the A town too. Hit me up.

we found the spiral and tore it up tonight, then we skated all the garages around there, didnt get kicked out of one. it was a killer night. where in aurora are you? like what major cross streets are you near?

If wells fargo is the only spiral in Denver you can find, you aren't looking hard enough.

Hampden and Chambers ish. Is where i am. Theres some hills over here as well that are not tec but are ok as fare as speed gos. 40+ mph and Piny Creek golf corse is good for slideing.

Hmm... me neither, Rusty PIne Tree Canyon in Fort Morgan, is sick
Edit: Another good spot is Grassy Valley Ranch Road in Topeka Kansas not to mention Dung Beatle Canyon Road in Nebraska is pretty sick as well

the reason people dont post spots is because when they're posted, typically a large number of people see the information, and then all go to ride there. this ends up in drawing more attention to the spots, causing tighter security, more hassle for the riders that have discovered the spots initially, and eventually making some of these spots unrideable. just like you sharing the spots already posted, by you doing that it is going to make more riders go there, possibly cause an accident or hit a spot they're not ready for, and make it more risky to ride the spots.

the best spots are often never disclosed to the general public, and thats why they stay the best. its unfortunate for the general longboarding community, but thats how it goes sometimes. if you want your favorite spots to last, keep it quiet.

Most skaters won't share spots with anyone they don't know in person. Anyone can just hop on the internet and start asking around for good spots to skate. A lot of time they have no clue what they are doing, and end hurting themselves and possibly others around them. Soon enough a once cherished run is a complete bust. That's why no one shares spots online.

Anyone know of some good Littleton Garages? Southglenn used to be great when it first opened, but now they are really cracking down. Still go though the cops just ask you to leave.
