Yep, we saw him we were all loaded up and just talking when he came by and said we would have to leave so we did. No biggie, but we might want to find some more good back-up garages.

Marty - you are correct - It was my mistake. The FNG plowed into the MAC like he was down one at the bottom of the ninth. All I know is that Im buying pads. No more broken hands, legs, fingers, shoulders, whatever. Hope its water under the bridge. If not, I can bring the FNG back for a proper smack down...
Anybody searched other garages in that same area? I saw a pretty tall one yesterday that was pretty close to DTC. Maybe midweek Ill shoot down there and have a little looksee.

I am very frustrated that I am hurt again. I won’t be able to skate for a few weeks. I can barely use that leg which is putting a major strain on the leg that I broke that is still not 100%. So now that one is hurting again.. I thought I was far enough to the side and that I was not in the way but I guess not.

Which brings up the issue of garage etiquette, when you are at the bottom and are done with your run, STAY TO THE SIDE AND OUT OF THE WAY!!! I purposely let everyone go ahead on my slow broken ass so as not to be in the way only to get to the bottom and find people in my way skating back to the elevator in the middle, right in the "line". I had to shout and whistle many time to let you know I was there. If there is a newbie, grom, gremmie or hodad that is unfamiliar with the garage or does not have the skills to not run into others or be able to control their speed or line they should stay on the other side until they do. I am all for spreading the stoke and including all but you don’t send a novice down a double black diamond.

Depending on the weather and my schedule, I might go looking for some new spots or maybe just hit one of the Front Range skateparks.

I've heard legend of a ditch somewhere north, Longmont maybe? Chris? from 64mm gave me directions a long time ago but I have since forgotten them. If anyone has any idea where it might be a scouting mission may be in order.

A rideable ditch in Colorado... It must be a legend. I grew up on ditches out in SoCal. But have never seen a good one here. Are you sure this isn't just an urban legend?

Stay away from COORS TECH, The cops gave Gary F. a bit if shiz, we REALLY need to get some new spots. DCC the tech center garage and now coors all have been visited by the man. Lets take some heat off of of thos spots and go hill/garage hunting.

Hey Lettuce fresh I should be good in two weeks.. Looking forward to skatin' with you.

I hate to say it but I think this is a backlash of all the Media attention given to Joe Pyles crash last month. I think a lot of Police departments have been told to crack down on skating on the streets. Shaggy got hassled up at DCC too.

You could be right, all the more reason to get some more spots, and if we get a few garages in the same area if one is a bust then we go to the next.

The time is now for garage hunting. Also we should go "light" keep everything in your car except you and your board so if a bust comes just throw the board in the car and go. No time for them to call the real cops of take down licence #'s while you pack up.

Ditto that -- Super close to a total bust now at CT. I was there last Sunday w/Flu, DP, Philth, & X -- the nice uniformed lady said skating there w/cones requires a permit, said we can't even park cars on the road!! She let us go for that day, but said we need to get permission from Coors to do anything there in the future. As Mac said, We should give CT a serious rest (and in the mean time maybe look into getting some sort of an official permission letter with a verifyable phone number on it, as per the officer's recommendation if we want to pursue CT). We need some new spots!

Mac -- sorry to hear about your leg -- recover quick!!
I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here.

I went on a 2 1/2 hour DCC replacement hill hunt, nothing really.

Man, I feel bad for that kid and I hope he gets better...but I hate him at the same time now.
