I know it seems Wyoming is kind of a black hole with a lot of things. Anybody in or near Wyoming know of any good places? Specifically southeast Wyoming (Laramie).

you should just head further south to ft. collins, co. it aint that far and the hills are worth the drive! you have a sick ass skate park in Laramie, hit dat sheet!!
Wyoming is the least populated state, and very large. That equates to far fewer cars on the road. If that's a black hole, then it's in a good way. I wish I still lived there.
What kind of skating are you looking to do, primarily?

I've heard contrary to our skate park being sick ass but then again I've never been there.
I'm trying to get into carving and maybo some downhill. Mostly I just wanna meet some people and hopefully learn something.

?? really, maybe street skaters may think its #### but it has a lot of flow for tranny/park guys, guess it's who you ask.
I agree it is who you ask. I mostly just wanna meet some people to learn. I know I would be able to learn faster with somebody teaching me then me watching videos and trying to figure things out myself. Oh, and I can't really go down to Ft. Collins because of football season (marching band) and then drum corps camps. When I would have a chance there will probably be snow on the ground.
Spudman: When and where did you live in Wyoming?

Where at exactly? There's no shortage of hills around Jackson, but if you go south towards Pinedale it gets flat.

There are sick hills all throughout wyoming. Powder River Pass in the Bighorns peaks at 10,000 feet, and goes all the way down to 4,000 feet for example. I think all the Wyoming silverfishers have posted in this topic, we're few and far between
It's amazing to hear guys from Wyoming. I was born and raised in Sheridan and never knew more than three other boarders. Of course that was back in the 70's and 80's... I have been in Kaliforniastan since '87. I am sure things have changed.
