I'm going out to CSU next year for school and was wondering if there were a lot of longboarders in and around town. I'm moving out there from VA so i don't really have any clue as to what the boarding scene is like.

i'm about to graduate CSU, it's got a so-so scene, a lot of people ride but mostly just cruising and transportation, there's a very small handful of dh'ers and coneheads but i think we're mostly graduated or about to. make your own scene, and hooking up with the UNC dudes is a good idea, they're awesome.
fort collins is a great place, used to live there. wasnt into longboarding at the time but its very diversified and developed as far as student recreation. Im sure youre gonna love it. I miss it

I was just in Ft Collins this weekend, the roads are great. I didn't get to leave the area I was in since it was sort of a family trip thing but but what I did get to ride was great. The streets were paved sooooo smooth. Some of them are kinda narrow and traffic is pretty heavy in some areas, but it is a college town so I imagine there's a pretty good scene.

what part of town were you in?
and it may be a college town but i find a lot of them are longboard "brahs"

I'm a CSU attendee. Lots of boarders, most seem to be commuters though. Ft. Collins is awesome though, lots to see and do good varied music rolling through most of the time and a venue that really supports the local music scene (shameless Hodi's plug!) Watch your gear here in town though, many many people have sticky fingers as of late. There is a public skate park here as well, I'm not a good judge as to whether it's all that and a can o' beans though. CSU did get rid of it's frisbee golf course a couple of years back, still don't know why kinda made it unique. Peace
yea i currently go to CSU.
campus is pretty much leveled out, and pavement is great.
there are bike lanes if you choose to use them, otherwise the roads arent so congested in and around main campus.
Anyone go to CSU?
