Hey guys. Is there anyone out there in the Grand Juction area?
I'm in the roaring fork valley (Aspen-Snowmass)
Longingforchrist is a part-time GJT resident and I think he has a crew there.
Check out the Traz store over near Sportmans. Might find some riders there.
i don't live in "vibe city" but spend a descent amount of time there. good hills are a bit scarce assuming you want to stay off major roads huh? TRAZ is like most boardshops, they don't know jack about bonglording.

i'm from gj but i go to college at UNC; might make it back to gj for the summer. i've found some good hills. got a ticket downhillin’ on the national monument; hell of a good time till the 5o showed up. redlands mesa golf course is fun at dusk when there aren't any golfers too.

i go to school at MESA...im here over the summer too. anyone up for a ride this week? theres that new parking structure downtown, i have no idea how fast it is though. now that all the students are gone theres not too many people to ride with. hope you guys can find some time to ride.
i took a ton of runs and had no trouble with the rangers. hill is fast and with lots of turns, but you can stick the whole thing. just remember to footbrake before the tunnel!

The rangers in the monument are pretty good guys, just don't drink or smoke the ganga and they won't give you a hard time.
Anyone up for a session tonight? 9PM'ish downtown, maybe a few beers and some fun?
Yeah, I know. I'm looking for some new places to ride, but just can't seem to find that perfect hill. Thanks for the input!
If you can get someone to watch the traffic at the base Mariposa, off of Monument road, it has a fresh layer of silky black asphalt and is a good time.
Also the hill from Powderhorn to Mesa is a friggen blast!
