Default Squaw Peak Utah

I thought that I would dedicate a thread to this subject. It is an amazing hill with very little traffic when its open. And no traffic (except bikes and some motorcycles sometimes) when closed.

And 90% is clear to ride RIGHT NOW!!! Only the top has snow.

So bring your brooms and your boards. As many as want to come this Saturday anytime. Its going to be awesome. And the more people the better.

The road is 9% average grade. The pavement doesnt have any sewer holes cracks or anything. Some little waves in a spot or two but nothing serious. And the pavement is smooth. This road has everything.

Would it be possible for some of us free loaders to hitch a ride up? Or meet up somewhere in order to hitch a ride.

How often will you be headin' up that way in the upcoming weeks/months?

Also what levels of riding are going to be welcomed and what levels will be "welcomed" but not really?

Where are you from? I'm sure we could give rides if people are in the general area. The road isnt open to cars though. We are going to have to walk it. Unless we figure something out with motorcycles or 4 wheelers. I am going to be gone for a week and a half starting sunday. But it depends on if the gate is closed or not to see how much we hit it.

And all levels are welcome. But if you arent comfortable in riding this isn't really the hill to learn DH on. But as long as everyone is safe everyone can come. And I will make everyone who rides with me wear a helmet.

I was more worried about bringing friends than myself cause I have some friends who are decent but just can't always keeps up.

And I'm up in slc, like literally two minutes from downtown, but I could get a ride closer down that way and meet up with you guys. I just meant a ride up to the gate.

brady you know I'm down, can't wait to see you there tomorrow morning, it's going to be SICK!!!
hey fresh fish, if you can catch trax all the up to like 90th or what ever that last stop is, then there is a bus that will bring right into lehi, or maybe even all the up to american fork, but for sure if you can get around the point of the mountain I would be willing to do some shuffling around. Oh man I can't wait to ride the crap out of this thing!!!!

I've got a car I was just wondering if it would be possible not to drive it the whole way (it is kinda falling apart right now) so that would be cool.

The Trax/ bus doesn't sound like a bad idea though.

So I went and rode it today. Wow. It was great. I'm stoked to ride it with everyone. And not have to walk back up. Because it is a really really long walk.

it would be sweet if we knew some one with a four wheeler, then we could a little trailer or something up to and just randomly pick people to meet everyone else at the bottom to bring us back up..... ahh, i love to dream of a perfect world.

I would definitely be down to ride but I have yet to replace my full face since smashing my head into the pavement...

I would also definitely pm you if the fish wasn't being stupid.

If there is any chance that you have a spare helmet I'd still be down to ride.

I am going to be there. Bring a broom if you have one too. I will also be there on Saturday. I may go take a look at it today and sweep a bit if the mechanic gets a new tire on my bike soon.

Stephen I might be able to let you use my motorcycle helmet. Or I have another helmet but it isnt a fullface.

I will let you guys know if I can make it up there today and sweep it off. Also I think we should go really early. The sun comes up at 6:16. I think we should be riding no later than 7. I will probably be there at about 6:15-6:30.
