Default Glacier National Park

I'm from AZ but I go up to Montana every once in a while and will be moving up there in about a year. I remember driving up Glacier National Park before I was really getting into longboarding. Has anyone ever tried this? It would be an amazing and beautiful ride. I don't remember the pavement quality or if there are any big issues with this but as I remember it I would love to ride it!

As a "blanket" rule. Skateboarding is not allowed in National Parks (I found out the hard way) I live within a 100 yds of one, and have to be low key.
Good luck!

Not going to lie, I have driven it and it is one damn amazing hill. But with tourist traffic and shoulderless roads, would make it probably unskateable.

Damn. I was afraid of both of those answers

Are there many good areas to skate up in that area though?

Highway to the Sun would be insane but I think skating in parks is a no-no. If it were some remote place w/o too many rangers then you could get away with it. If HtoS is anything like the Parkway near me it's crap. I'd also like more than a 18" rock wall between me and one hell of a free fall.

Before or after the fall?

I see you're from AZ. The highway from Prescott down into Phoenix/chandler would be cool...there is a really long DH that leads from a large stand of trees down into the sand...pretty one.

OH! Yeah that would be an awesome ride, I know exactly where you're talking about. It's the I-17 from the top of that plateau down to the desert. That would be a beautiful ride also but the 17 is soooooo busy.
