Arrow Question to all SLC/Valley Area Skaters

whats up,

I got a 23" flexdex pumper board thats sweet for pumping around but I'm likely gunna get a loaded dervish or vanguard for cruisin around campus, I need something that can handle more speed on downhills like the gradual downhills around campus cause my flexdex gets mad speed wobble. So, anyone longboard around campus, if so whats your board setup/ recommendations?

thanks all

i think flex dex is a pretty good board. i'm not a campus rider but I do a lot of highspeed riding. I bet if you just tighten up your back truck a smidge and leave your front truck loose enough to take those diffucult turns then you will be fine.

I think a landyacthz mummy would make a great choice for a board, it has a wheelbase short enough to be agile, and a subtle flex that will help in turns, but still be fairly comfortable at speed.

Landy Mummy
Randall 150/180s or Holeys
Bones Reds
anywheel that is 85mm or less I think would fit(the mummy has big cutouts allowing for much larger wheels.)

I ride through campus a lot and i never have a problem with my Vanguard, it's agile enough to handle all of the quick turns and stuff but i can still easily ride 20+ with no problem. And it's very slide-able. My trucks are too loose to handle 30+ but it could be changed with tighter trucks. It's a flex 2 Vanguard with Randall 180's and Bones Reds and yellow Khiro Bushings and Gumballs.
