everybody on the 'fish talks about snowboarding but i love skiing and i was just wondering if anybody else out there loves to ski (the superior sport)

Hey, if it's speed you're into, skis are where it's at.

Nothing I like more as a skier than blowing past a bunch of boarders so effing fast the wind knocks them over.

I've always Ski'd instead of boarded whenever I hit the slopes. But the family hasn't been out to colder climates in a few years, and i dig skating too much to get off my ass, rent the gear and go all the way to snow (at least 4 hours).

Fun, fun ####, though. One of the best ski runs I ever took was halfway through this gnarly storm - I think we were one of the last people up before they closed the lifts. Can you say smoooooooth?

Hell yeah! I was a ski bum for a season at Alta UT- no snwbrds allowed there. Alta and Snowmass are my favorites.

I spent 8 years in LIttle Cottonwood and that is where I first tried snowboarding in '85. I still ride a snowboard alpine style but skiing is where it is at.

If it was easy they would call it snowboarding
