Hey- I have been in the springs for almost 10 months now, I just got one of my boards shipped to me that I had left behind in Texas(I can't believe I left them behind) and I have been out trying to find spots to carve up around here. There are so many seemingly awesome places to ride, but probably mostly late night skates to avoid traffic. I most recently found a great hill near my house to carve down at night, some of the smoothest pavement I have ever skated on, but it's definitely a late night run because of all the apartments. It's probably close to 1/2 mile, maybe a little less, 4 lanes wide, no striping, smooth as glass, fairly mellow grade, blacktop. Great for cruising or bombing. Near I-25, World Arena. The name of the street is Tenderfoot Hill. Just watch out near the bottom of the hill, it dead ends onto Venituchi so be ready to stop. The last time I went there, around 11:30pm, there was NO traffic on Tenderfoot and only a couple of cars traveling down Venituchi.

Heh... I drive there all the time (mmmm... arbys). I really want to find a good dh run near my house... but it seems like all the ones near broadmoor bluffs have really shitty pavement. I'd like to try NORAD road... but I'm afraid of getting arrested by the MPs (already happened once with a paintball gun lol)
I just Checked out Woodman road today
the day i get some leathers im going for it!
it looks sooo awesome
steep with some sweeping turns. and im pretty sure you could get all the way down past the church there too. if you kept speed up
