Wy cant yuo at leest spel the titel write?

Seriously, if you are going to take the time to post something... is it that hard to spell your title correctly. So many new threads have blatant spelling mistakes in the title of all places- and mostly concerning the gear. Now I can understand not making it through your entire epic 5-10 word post, but the title?

And then dudes scream at people for not searching. Google is only as smart as the dumbest Silverfisher. If your trying to search Randals and another guy posted the same question about Randles 2 days earlier, well then your sh!t out of luck my friend.

Take like 3 seconds to look at what you type, it helps the whole community. And then people will most likely be inclined to spend more than 3 seconds on their response.

Just my opinion, skaters aren't this stupid.

When people say try searching they mean search within the site. There is a search function on the site that only finds stuff on the site. I think reading your post you thought that when people say search they mean google. I might be wrong though.

And i feel ya with the grammar/spelling thing. Especially in thread titles.

Alright Swiss, fair enough you got me. You missed my point, but you got me. And Willl this site uses Google as a search engine- in fact it works much better than the normal search in my opinion. It is under the search drop down and is called Silverfish Google Search I believe.

EDIT: And just for clarification I am not trying to be an uppity bitch, if it came off that way I apologize. I am far from perfect, an above average speller but as Swiss pointed out I can use improvement. I guess I just have 0 interest in opening up a thread like "Are Randalls godd?" Maybe people will see this and make a little more effort. And again, regardless of which search method you use on this site it can't find a word that is spelled differently than the way you are spelling it - right or wrong.

You know I'm just poking fun.

I do understand though and

when I read something I've posted previously and see stupid errors. Not that it really matters. Programming, proof reading and paying uber attention to detail all day... it's kind of a release just to put the fingers and brain on autopilot.

Now if you'd really like an opportunity to pull your hair out, try supporting/managing an application (Oracle database) that's populated with data collected from 4000+ field sales reps and communicated into the corporate home office. Now a database's magic is the ability to mine data for statistics and reports. There's 4000+ ways to spell and/or abbreviate Street with every manner of punctuation and capitalization. Sheesh!! I've cobbled together some wicked queries to counter all the variances and get true results.

8ft, its all good- your post cracked me up. And again I really don't expect or want people to be overly anal and nit pick posts. It was not my point at all. And I don't go over every thread I post, but I do look at the title before I hit "submit." I mean its that little bit that I am putting out there for public consumption so take a little pride in it. But you are right, this is a place to unwind for sure.

Maybe its just the lack of any kind of effort that some put into their thread and then expect some serious time to be put into the response. Or maybe I am just getting old/ grumpy... I turn 34 tomorrow.

Well happy birthday but you're just hitting your prime. Things start going downhill when you hit 40. Wheels coned and not quite as fast. Bushings squeak in the morning until warmed up. Your plank starts to sag a little. Grip starts showing a few thin spots. Aging...

You know what's cool? At home I noticed misspelled words would have a squiggly underline.

I looked around and didn't see any spellchecker here. Two days ago, I finally took the next step in computers, right click on something to see if there's a pop up menu. Cool!! Spell check.

Now here's the thing - It's part of Google Chrome!! If you haven't tried Chrome, go for it. I use it exclusively now. Faster than IE and the new found spell check on the fly is sweet.
