I suspect this is a duplicate account used to shill for BC longboards.

The overwhelming majority of Gnarleyrider's posts are talking up BC boards, telling someone to buy a BC board, or congratulating them for doing so.

A few attempt to discredit criticism of BC by calling someone (me) a jerk instead of addressing the criticism on its merits. These are almost always followed shortly afterward by Fro_Daddy, the owner of BC Longboards, agreeing with Gnarleyrider. (Fro_Daddy and Gnarleyrider's posts are usually within 20 minutes to an hour of each other and are always in agreement about the awesomeness of BC boards. Check this thread for a good example.)

Some are just strange. Check out this thread. Gnarleyrider starts off by posting a picture of a prototype board. Fro_Daddy replies 45 minutes later, expressing his approval and asking how the board was constructed. Twenty minutes after that, Gnarleyrider replies that a friend made it for him and tells him to... email Fro_Daddy. Twenty minutes (always with the 20 minute spacing) later, Fro_Daddy describes his desire to hit himself up for a board. What? Dude doesn't know how his own boards are constructed?

Others are pretty transparently manufactured opportunities for BC to show off a new product. Twenty minutes after Gnarleyrider started this "Whats a good board for pools?" thread asking for a good pool board "besides the traditional shortboard," BC chimes in to hype his pool board, followed by a pretty stilted forum dialogue between BC and Gnarleyrider. I don't think that's a coincidence.

The remainder are one-liners in the music forum, probably to get the account's post count up in an effort to make it look more credible.

This might just be a case of rabid fanboyism; but most fanboys don't post exclusively to praise their favorite company's products from day one or know the company's office schedule.

I understand the desire to have people talking about your products so you can build up a reputation for your products on the forum; but the way to do that is by making a quality product at a fair price, getting it out to as many riders as possible by sponsoring riders and events, and making cool videos of radical riding; not astro-turfing and misleading people online.

I've got no opinion on BC's products or beef with this Bryant Cooper guy. I just noticed a pattern for which there may be a perfectly good explanation.

im kind of glad something like this came up. i remember the heist vs dervish thread, and the s*** you caught there was stuuupid. i havent been impressed for a while with the constant repping of bc boards by the builder, and was turned off to them early on. to be fair i dont know if what i was seeing was unethical or merely annoying, though.

SHUT UP DUDE! can we talk about the difference's between the two boards? without a smart A*S remark from you! and by the way... they can design any board shape the customer desires..... I got what they called the BC "stingray", It's one of a kind and one of the best custom boards i've ever seen! so with that said leave this thread and please dont come back. Your advise is not wanted here........ obviously!

i noticed that guy a while ago, bringing on a flood of eel images to any thread i looked at for a while. wouldn't be surprised if it was a dupe, though there are plenty of over zealous fanboys out there as well.

im curious to see how this turns out
