A Lite version of Silverfish?

Well I've been reading a few of these threads and bandwidth is all tight and everything. Why not create a light version of Silverfish with minimal coding, images, straight-up HTML, etc.

well the adds keep the fish running, im pretty sure theres an option to turn off signatures and avatars though.

What I mean with minimal images is the silverfish logo, the fancy post reply button for one. I know the ads should be kept in place and there could be a way to implement that.

If you really want to make a difference in your bandwidth, try using a command line browser like lynx or links. If you like images and have framebuffering enabled, you can use "links -g www.silverfishlongboarding.com"

Though, if you are on windows, I doubt you will have access to such programs.

Try blocking images from SF. You can do that in Firefox.
