login glitch

So there's this minor glitch sometimes when I login. I type in everything correctly, and I log in, yet I get this message:

You have entered an invalid username or password. Please press the back button, enter the correct details and try again. Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password? Click here!

You have used 1 out of 5 login attempts. After all 5 have been used, you will be unable to login for 15 minutes.

No it logs me in the first try, but that window also shows up. So I type in my username/password, and press login. Then the whole "invalid password" shows up, but when I look at the top of the window where the login boxes are, they are gone because I am logged in.
