Thief in the classified forum

I was recently involved in a trade gone bad. A Silverfish member who goes by the name "Kay-Mahn" replied to an ad I posted in the classifieds.

The ad was for a trade, my Randal 180mm hangers for a pair of Paris 180mm hangers. We had worked up a deal so he claimed to have mailed his hangers the Monday before Christmas, I mailed mine two days later.

After two+ weeks no hangers, no reply to PM's or emails. I would suggest to EVERYONE, do not deal with "Kay-Mahn", he is a thief!

Please tell us if you've had bad deals with "Kay-Mahn" so no one gets ripped off again!

That's a dick move, but it is illegal to steal. Get him.

I was notified that he cheated someone out of a Charly No Limits helmet in the classifieds of another site.
I was also told his name is Kahn Mitchel. He went by the name K-Mitch on that site.

Once again I can't stress this enough, stay away from "Kay-Mahn".

now that you know the kids name, try and find him on facebook. or find someone who knows his facebook page, phone #, anything you can get. then send that bastard messages until you hear something. once you have them pinned down like that the scammers are much more complient. i got an extra $10 bucks from this horrible kid on here named nate and an extra set of wheels for not going to the cops after i found him. good luck.

For example, where did you ship your stuff to, was it a home or was it a P.O. box?

That alone should be a lot of info to start with.

It merely instills the fact that stealing is cool if you don't get busted, and if you do, you can get off by buying the victim off

Did you ship via USPS? if you did he probably committed mail fraud. worth a check into.

I'm sorry that this happened. I traded decks with a K-mitch "AKA Khan Mitchel" earlier this year and the transaction was flawless. PM me and I'll send you the address I have for him in CA. I hope that you can get this resolved.
