Log-in flipping out

I've noticed that when i log in even if i enter the wrong password it sends me to a page telling me to enter the correct password, the problem is that it logs me in anyways though with the wrong password. Any thoughts?

This is an actual problem.

Along with this, there's logging in but it not actually showing anything on the top of the page until you go to another page, and somehow logging into my brother's account with my username and password. I have ALL cookies and caches disabled.

OK, you are right. Me and the other 39,998 members who aren't having the issue are wrong.

That's very kind of you.

Even if it was cookies it shouldn't say that it was a failed login and then log me into someone else's account.

Nah there is def' something up with the bridge, I log in and out a great deal and I have noticed some weirdness, we are looking to upgrade and resolve it.

No according to Stringtheory, it's not a big deal. It's not logging you into a random account, it's logging you into an account that was signed on from your computer. You sure your browser is not saving the log in info? there's so many ways to save things, that I think you should check that first.

If you were getting logged into random accounts, that would be a real problem.

I told ya, I have everything disabled. Double triple checked. And just because it's not a stranger's profile doesn't mean it shouldn't be fixed, you know?

And I was commenting on your speaking for the general consensus of SF somehow when I'm just trying to provide input to help better the site. Not according to Stringtheory. It's not cookies. I'll bet 3 white chocolate macadamian nut cookies it's not cookies.

was asking for a bit more of a technical answer. But then again I don't know what login program SF uses, PHP or what.

But regardless, yeah, that screen makes me really sad.
