    Default forum problems

ive got two problems that hopefully someone can help me out with.
    1. When I am looged in and look at a thread page 1 displays the most recent post but wneh i am not loged in it displays the most recent post on the last page which makes more sense to me. Is there a way that I can flip the order that the posts are displayed?

    2. My friend just made an account but when he is logged in he cannot even read any of the forums and in the ones that he can see he cannot post replays. He activated the account with the email and I dont know why he cant see any of them. is there something you have to do before posting stuff? I feel like opnce i got an account i could post immediately.
