    Default Ignore....

an ignore function would be nice. definately be usefull for keeping the flames down as you could just "ignore" the user. none of their post show up when you have them on ignore, it's such a nice little button, even if used rarely.

    yeah, WillJ doesn't like me.

haha. i dunno if he doesn't like me. i've asked him a lot of questions and he's given me good answers, so thanks for the answers man.

but back to the point, an ignore button would be useful in some cases, especially for Longbord1. that dude has been desperately trying to sell his dropcarve and all he gets is disses and umm, me talking about barbecues strapped to longboards. haha

If I hit the ignore button on all the people on this forum that annoyed me it would be very quiet around here.

The "ignore button" is a great suggestion. The software we're using for the site right now doesn't have that feature, though.

We are getting ready to reveal a "new Silverfish", which basically means the same site on a new software platform that works a little better (in some ways a LOT better) and looks a little different. It's not going to require seperate logins for the front page, reviews and forums, is a little harder for geeks to hack on and is a little more modern behind the scenes (ie the admin control panel). We'll see if the new stuff has an Ignore feature or not.
