Auto-censorship options are too strong

Mentioning the name of a well-known pro (Omar H***an) gets a bunch of asterisks.

Personally I'd prefer none of this auto-censorship stuff...

ditto for fiberglass (fibergla s s) and class (cla s s ) etc.
it needs to be loosened up a good deal.

Okay, this is not too hard to fix. It's just a matter of identifying which text strings to make exceptions for. If you find more, post them.

block the 4 letter words.

haha, loki... we all know the 4 letter words don't come up so often as parts of other words, but a ss has got to be in about 20 words. nevermind the fact that it's not a swear

The filter has been fixed to only remove the full word rather then part of a word. I am rebuilding the cache but if you guys went such talkers it would be finished by now

why censor at all? besides there are ALWAYS ways to get around the filters.

It has, for the time being. The last time it was activated caused the "Asterisk Event" and nobody wants to go back there. So, for the time being, we don't have to know codes to be inarticulate, we can just like totally ******* do that **** without like any ******* like filters, you know?

As long as a discussion is constructive and sans name-calling who give's a rat's ass whether or not someone says **** or ****? It's how we talk. If it's little kids or church goers anyone is worried about they're gonna hear worse when they go skate in real life. Leave the filters off.
