I think you guys tinkered with the permissions, but now if I'm not logged in and try to go to a Forum that requires it, the site tells me "there are no new posts in the last 30-days", instead of "Login to Read". I know there are posts in the last 30 days cuz I can login and see them.

That must be why the login asks for your Social Security Number, Green Card Certification and a major credit card! DirectiveO sells off the info for spare cash?

Not Logged-In's issue is real. I can see it, too.

The 'Fish really does use Directive0's personal information for credit applications in Nigeria.

Since the 'Fish started requiring logins and email verification in the registration engine, the spam/porn/phentermine posting has been reduced by over 90%. So, while some people gripe and whine about having to login, or to use an email address that's actually theirs, the rest of us don't have to read about diet aids & porn sites and the Admins can save the two hours a day that used to be spent hunting and killing spam.

Three of the four paragraphs in this post are true.
