I you want to know why Chemical Anarchy/Will Arnette got himself banned, you can read the "Am I going to Ban You?" thread in this forum, or PM Malakai Kingston. You may be disappointed to find out that Kai's decision had nothing to do with how badly Chaput's wheels suck (and they totally suck, so ban me) and that CA simply chose the wrong dreadlocked skater to tussle with. You might also aquaint yourself with the Posting Guidelines located in the Resources and Q/A forum.

If you'd prefer to read wild Enquirer stories, you can contact CA under his new screen name (if he's ballsy enough to admit it again) or the well-known conspiracy theorists. In that case, just assume the worst. That makes it all easier.

If you enjoy flagellating over this, or the Twins' other Conspiracy Theories, use this forum to spam it up, instead of crapping all over existing threads. Of course, this won't guarantee that Kai doesn't come swooping in to pop you like a rancid zit.

I was merely asking why CA got banned and expressing my feeling that he was a good guy (to me). I don't know what he's problem with abec 11 was.

I love abec 11 and their products.
Hell I created much of the hype about zig zags here with my thread "Chaputs new wheels in 5 colors..". 23 pages of abec 11 retro love.
I'm not saying that I'm responsible for their success, clearly thats not the case.

The goal of the Longboard Consortium has been to develop and produce reviews and commentary that any skater, anywhere in the world can use and rely upon when deciding whether to purchase something with hard-earned cash.

Smart or responsive manufacturers have changed products that were criticised by the Longboard Consortium, and some have even sent pre-production items for "wrecking crew treatment" and analysis that has resulted in design changes to make the products better for skaters. Other vendors or manufacturers have indicated real fear of a Longboard Consortium review, because they have the impression that the crew aren't so easily bought off as the "reviewers" they're used to. Some have tried to push that, and found out the hard way that the Conspiracy Twins are full of crap.

Our core frustration with the Conspiracy Twins is that they cannot accept this, and repeatedly accuse those 20 people of presenting an opinion the Twins are sure the Consortium don't actually believe --remarkably even when the Twins claim to agree with the opinion they claim the authors themselves don't really hold. So, they claim that opinions are really an advertisement, instead of truth.

Then, they get really pissy and frustrated when those opinions and findings they just don't want to believe turn out to be right, to be subsequently validated by pro-racers (not including those involved in the forumulation in the first place), shop owners and skaters around the world. This essential truth grinds the Conspiracy Twins apart, but they deal with it by evasion and smoke. They'll post things like, "..it's cool, you can just post stuff you don't believe, but we totally support you". Then, they'll cry "victim" if anyone calls them out for it. Since that's usually me, they've developed a theme of "oppresion and hype". Ironically, they're real big on hyping their own stuff...

One thing the Twins cannot do, and I renew my longstanding challenge directly to Directive0:
1) identify which "opinion" issued by the Longboard Consortium is wrong in your view (ie your opinion), and is so unreasonable that the only explanation (as opposed to the convenient one for a ****-slinger) is that the Consortium is "in cahoots" or "selling and ad".
2) do the same for me, EBasil.

See, they cannot produce when challenged, because it's just a convenient way to gripe. "But duuuude, be cooool. Don't be so defensive when I'm a jerk. Duuuuude?"

The consortium is a group of reviewers, never had a problem with the consortium reviews! That was that accounts purpose and it was advertised as such, everyone who reads it knows what they are getting.

Way back when all this stank started, I did have a problem with the one sidedness of your posts, being as that you were an administrator of this site, personal friends (Am I wrong, is most of what you posted about the Zig Zags awhile back, the Rogers Boards, and everything else not DIRECTLY FROM THE SOURCE?!) with the people who's products you were suggesting and so on. Seemed a little bit of a conflict of interest, but then you mentioned that it was all part of adding content to the site. I pondered on that, and eventually agreed. I guess being close to the designers engineers and racers added to your knowledge of skate gear and helped the people on here in buying decisions and stoke. So yah you win, you're right and I WAS a big conspiracy poop head. So shuffle me in with someone (I'm guessing I'm a twin, too bad I used the term for you cats first!) as a conspiracy nut, but I also let you know when I feel something is wrong so you can adress it and defend your position, like right now. If, however, I let these things brood and grow, only discussing it with other people that felt the same way (like a few people I know on here) then it would breed resentment and nothing would ever get better cause no one would be seeing the positive sides of what was going on. I know your a good guy, you certainly know your stuff. But you are a tad overbearing on this stuff, guess I would be too if I had devoted so much money and time into it.
