    Default PM notifications....

It used to be if you were browsing sf and you got a PM a little pop up or something would notify you.

Now there is no way to know if you have a PM except to check the little PM counter under the welcome line.

Also no e mail notification as far as I know.

I've noticed that this has led to lots of people not knowing they have PM's and lots of people not checking or reading their PM's.

    Andbody else notice this?

    Can this be fixed please?

Actually, if you turn on your PM notification it's way more noticeable and annoying than the old one was. Check it out.

    Um....my bad.
I had no idea that there were 'options'.
I was getting pm notification before the switch over and didn't
realize that it would require 'turning on'.

I've noticed that I am not the only one who is experiencing this.
Some people are not reading pm's because of this.

So you cant pm people and tell them to turn on pm notification.

So maybe a sticky thread could be made in general where lots of people would notice it?

    Just a thought.....
