whenever i click on "last post" in free skateboards, action shots, quiver pics, and what are you listening to right now, it brings me to the first page of the threads instead of the latest post

I am having the same problem as buxor. It has something to do with threads of large volume.
I am getting lagged out of chat every 5 minutes or so.
Also the site is crashing like every 10 minutes for me, then coming back a minute later

Clicking on "New Posts" in the forum menu only brings up 4 pages of threads. Silverfish turns over more threads than that in the course of a day, so people who only check in once a day miss some. Other forums I visit have a "Show all new posts since your last visit" option instead; if Silverfish has this, I haven't found it. Either needs to be implemented or needs to be easier to find if it's already here.
The forum's Rep/Karma system is barely there at all. There's no way to see a user's actual up and down tallies, just some vague message like "On the right road" or "Has Tons of good stoke". And to even see hat much, you have to think to hover over those little teeny green boxes with no labels. I'll bet there are a bunch of users that don't even know the system's in place. Other forums I visit show a + and - count under user's names, which people are much more likely to see and use. And there's no way to see all your own comments, just the most recent ones. What up wit dat?
The front page only shows one story at a time; if a user doesn't log on for a couple days, they'll miss some stories unless they go digging for them. Other sites list the last several news items on the front page instead.
More smileys available directly from the reply screen without opening a new window.

When I view other's profiles most of the info is gone and the avatar is switched back to default.
Don't know if it's possible.. Maybe have a maximum total signature size.

Naw, I mean the whole story (or at least the image and the teaser paragraph) are there.. not a tiny "old news" box at the bottom. But if it's forum fixin' time only, so be it.

Nah' no worries just not a fan of sites that have 74,000 smilies. Just personal bias.
On the article tip we try to keep the page double high with just one page after the fold, I would like to have more content on the FP but that is not how the template is built.
