Why am I not surprised? He's just about the most deranged, murderous thug this country has ever produced!

I suspect you've said more foolish things but this is right up there.
I also suspect that we'll see genuine thuggery sooner rather than later and that once again the usual suspects will rush to gloss it over rather than take the time to be truly critical because doing so requires more than single sentences and sound bites.

On a side note, it took me so long to figure out what this thread was about, manly because i don't know anyone and didn't recognize Crappy as a name in the title.

You're right. One mustn't forget Andrew Jackson, U.S.Grant, Woodrow Wilson, and Curtis LeMay.

"the firebombing and atomic bombing campaign against Japan, directed by LeMay between March 1945 and the Japanese surrender in August 1945, may have killed more than one million Japanese civilians."

Let's lay the blame where it properly belongs,
Chamberlain, FDR, Hitler, Hirohito, Stalin, Mao then Truman - though to be fair, Truman was a political cats paw that had to conclude the mess the others started.
Churchill gets a pass given England was pounded after Chamberlain tried to buy peace.
