exactly. Look there are a bunch of stupid crap posted on this site daily. Most of the time I just ignore it or don't post. This site has gone south but I understand the mods and everyone else responsible are doing their best to keep things at bay. Its just the nature of the beast. Longboarding is expanding so naturally its more likely to pick up more douche bags. And when I was a young teen, I too was a douche bag.....not much has changed but knowing when to and when not to respond is also an important thing.

the reason i even look at this site is because we can all voice opinions, criticize and argue.
one day you could get a neg rep from a member on a post; the next day that same person may give you a positive rep on another post .
i also don't neg rep someone just because they neg rep me.
there is allot of camaraderie here, just because someone says your a douche or a douche nozzle on one thread doesn't mean they dislike you or hold a grudge against you,at least not for me.
i also like that there are allot of rude mofos that post with great wit and humor, including my rude self.
now go back to that other site on gardening and clipping roses you mod and enforce good fellowship there .
cant take the heat get out the kitchen, cant hang with the big dogs get off the porch.
    i luv all u fishes.
    merry christmas
Nicely said. You made a very good point. One day you might hate this site and feel like everyone's out to get you. The next, you feel great and you make new buddies and learn something new. You take the positive with the negative, and hope the positive outweighs the negative over time.

I get flamed. I get called names. I just skate it out and come back later and take responsibility for my part in the conflict and we all go on. I can't afford even ONE hater hating on me. It wears me out, and keeps me up at night, so I just let it go and head back to the positive side. Do I turn the other cheek when slapped? Hell no, but on an internet forum I've learned to talk it out and accept that not everybody's going to agree with me all the time.

Some of my best friends started out as worst enemies until I stuck out my hand and said "truce?". It takes a lot of courage. You gotta swallow your pride sometimes, but that's life. We gotta work things out to grow. Carrying grudges is work I am not up to.
