enforcing good fellowship?

i havent been on SF for long but seen a fair share of trolling/negativity in various threads dont u guys have some kind of rule for this?

enforcing good fellowship would be something that should be taken under consideration, which will improve the site overall and positively.

Excessive/repeated trolling. Failure to maintain overall good fellowship/camaraderie, AND/OR if you are consistently unpleasant to other members of the forum, AND/OR constant negativity.

im a mod for different forum that houses about 80,000 active members a day, i usually throw 3-4 bans out to constant trolls. if they cant figure out why their getting constantly banned i forwarded it to a higher mod that than enforces month bans

Define unpleasant, define negativity.

I'm not going to ban people based on ideals.

I ban people based on a defined set of rules, which are explicitly laid out.

When someone is banned, there is a group discussion and the admins make a discussion.

We don't have lots of forum members, we are a small facet of skating, so not only do we need to make the most of the members we have but we also need to be a bit patient with those members who are a little slow adopting our "Stoke For All" belief system.

We still have wayyyyy too many of these threads, but I think the negativity keeps it in check. I could be wrong.

what is this the fellowship congregation of silverfish?
the reason i even look at this site is because we can all voice opinions,criticize and argue.
one day you could get a neg rep from a member on a post; the next day that same person may give you a positive rep on another post .
i also don't neg rep someone just because they neg rep me.
there is allot of camaraderie here,just because someone says your a douche or a douche nozzle on one thread doesn't mean they dislike you or hold a grudge against you,at least not for me.
i also like that there are allot of rude mofos that post with great wit and humor,including my rude self.
now go back to that other site on gardening and clipping roses you mod and enforce good fellowship there .
cant take the heat get out the kitchen,cant hang with the big dogs get off the porch.

everyone gets flamed, it's a learning experience and you quickly realize that maybe your opinion really was not as great as you originally thought. flaming stupid post is kinda like a warning to others saying "post stupid sh!t and your gonna get jumped on by an internet pack of wolves". it builds character
